RCIA and RCIT

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults):

is a program designed to give information and instruction in the doctrine on the Catholic Church to adults who are thinking about becoming Catholic, or are already Catholic but didn't receive all of the sacraments of initiation (Reconciliation, Communion,  Confirmation).

The Sessions begin in September and go through Easter. (See the Calendar for more details) Contact Anna at 309-236-0059 for further information.

RCIT (Rite of Christian Initiation for Teens):

is a program for teens who have not been baptized or have not received the sacraments of first Eucharist, first Reconciliation or Confirmation. This program explains our Catholic beliefs and practices, and studies Scripture in an appealing way for those exploring their faith for the first time.

Sessions start in September and continue through Easter. Candidates who wish to become Catholic are baptized, make a Profession of Faith or receive the sacraments they have missed at the Easter Vigil and thus are brought into full communion with the Catholic Church.
